Elios Reisenwulf
Elios Reisenwulf, also known as Elios the Conqueror, was the fourth Emperor of Räsgard. The youngest son of Petros I, he came to power during the First Räsgardian Civil War. After taking the throne he established many of the political and military traditions that paved the way for the Empire's longevity. Perhaps most notable among these reforms was the Crownsmoot, a method of succession that resulted in a peaceful transition of power for nearly five hundred years. Despite early setbacks (most notably defeat in the First Adarna War) he rapidly made a name for himself through centralizing the army and conquering the Maromere. After a period of rebuilding he re-declared war on Adarna, this time delivering a crushing defeat to his enemies which saw Adarna's capitulation and the annexation of Nordaven and Vestimor. Through his efforts he was able to expand the Empire's borders from the Jörlan to the Achinad Seas. In 1473, 18 years after taking the throne, he set out with a contingent of soldiers to cross the Fields of Illusion and was never heard from again. Three years later he was officially declared dead.
