Merending War

The Merending War was a series of military campaigns waged by Elios, second emperor of Räsgard against the tribes inhabiting the Maromere and Snakewood. The four-year long conflict lasted from 1464-1467, culminating in the decisive siege of Serpent's Redoubt, in which a complete Räsgard victory resulted in expansion of the empire from the Mezoan River to the Achinad Sea, creating the province of Aufland.
