Lady Anna is the Duchess of Cressen, one of the territories of the kingdom of Ostren.
She is said to currently be engaged in a campaign to hunt and destroy monsters in Ostren in the wake of King Barnabas' death. This is in stark contrast to her fellow dukes, who are engaged in a conflict that is threatening civil war in the kingdom. Her reasons for this are unknown, though some surmise it to be her way to the throne-- by securing safety for the common folk and winning the support of the people.
