Ostren

Ostren is a kingdom in the southwestern reaches of Faerun. The kingdom was formed when Ostra invaded Cressen. Later, Aldora swore fealty and joined the kingdom as well. Its most recent leader was King Barnabas but he died recently and the country has been plunged into a crisis of succession as his heir Prince Edgar is too young to rule. The primary contestants for power that have made themselves known are the leaders of Ostren's three duchies: Fallon, Elwyn, and Anna. Each holds a considerable amount of power based on their own sizeable territories, loyal vassals, and people.
