Suktu Musical Traditions
As with all intelligent races, the Suktu are driven to make beautiful things, one of which includes music. Suktu songs are customarily meant to spread information rather than sound beautiful for beauty's sake.
Components and tools
Because lyrics are an important part of their musical traditions, the Suktu are fond of instruments that allow them to play and sing at the same time, such as drums or things with gut-strings.
Participants
As with many of their other activities, music is a group event for the Suktu. One person typically leads the song and others join in if they know the words or hum along with the tune if they don't.
Observance
Most Suktu songs are intended to spread historical accounts and news of various heroes, as well as retell assorted tales from the Deities. They feature simple-yet-catchy melodies that repeat or alternate until the story being told reaches its conclusion.
