Lothair I of Lothairia
Lothair I was the founder of the Empire of Lothairia. He lived during the Age of Heroes and managed to unite the human clans, eventually helping mold them into the Lotharians of today.
This was a monumental task since at the time there were roaming bands of bandits, monsters and horrors left from the War in Heaven. With great leadership Lothair grew the town of Lothairia to a burgeoning Empire. He forged alliances with Divine King Vanadan and Underlord Sorkar. Thus humans, elves and dwarves worked together to set the foundation for the soon to be Empire. As the lands of his domain expanded halflings, gnomes, tieflings and various other races were incorporated into the empire.
However, a human's life is only so long. Lothair grew older and older, when he was no longer able to ride in a saddle he sat down and wrote down laws, codes of conduct, military treaties and many other works which to this day are the basis of the Empire of Lothairia. Some laws, were changed or abolished, namely, one concerning the owning of slaves, however, the foundations of the Empire are still the same.
