Prince Emund of Lothairia

Emund was the firstborn son of Emperor Omund X. He was the heir to the throne of the Lothairian Empire.

During the last years of his reign Emperor Omund X was bedridden from his old age. His father being unable to perform the duties of Emperor the then 25 year old Emund ruled as regent.

He was extremely talented in his role and equally as ambitious. With consent from the senate he started a war supporting the Divine Elven Kingdom of Thilaron against Doralean and Yemar hoping to extend the Empire's influence. 

Five years ago, after three years as regent, the young Emperor-to-be suddenly passed away and became the Emperor That Never Was. Many said that it was stress of managing the vast Empire and the new war. There was gossip that it was an assassin in the night, some said it was poison, some blamed the elves, others blamed the senate, and some blamed the Despots of Castria and Lavenia who capitalized on the death of Emund and increased their own powers.

Whatever the truth might be, the heir to the Empire was now his younger brother The Cub of Lothairia. A year after the death of prince Emund his father Omund X passed away, leaving the reins of the Empire in the hands of Lothair XV.
