Southeastern Institute for Parapsychology Studies

The Southeastern Institute for Parapsychology Studies (SIPS or 'the Institute') was founded in 1907 by the estate of Bremerton J. Kilpatrick.  It is headquartered in Kilpatrick's manor Ammetio House.

The annual report of the Institute, which is required to be filed with the state, shows it have very little income, very little expenses, and describes it's mission as "Enhancing mankind's understanding of events that are beyond the detection of normal states of sensation."   The annual report also names Aloysius Chesterman Kettle-Smythe III as the sole officer of the organization in his role as Managing Director .

Public Agenda

The Institute keeps a very low profile and little is known by the public.  Ammetio House is well maintained, the property taxes are paid in full by mail, and there is little to no travel in or out of the property.

Assets

The Institute possesses Ammetio House built by Bremerton J. Kilpatrick.  The Ammetio House Library  is rumored to possess copies of some of the rarest and most mysterious tomes in the history of the world. The library is not open to the public and, as far as anyone knows, does not accept research requests from outside institutions or organizations.
