Thun’Vaht Nation

The Thun’Vaht are a tribal nation of K'Thonim  worshiping cannibals that inhabit the northern stretches of the Dark Coast. They are deeply protective of K'Thonum ruins and consider them sacred. They are ruled by a council of elder witches. Thun’Vaht Witches are always aligned with a K'Thonum patron.
Thun’Vaht Witches choose those who join their ranks, selecting a young woman from within the tribe for her power and connection to nature, then forcing her to consume a powerful soporific that puts the new witch into a state of frightening paralytic delusion. Then they place a K'Thonum artifact on her, usually a necklace around her neck so that when she calls out a K'Thonum patron is close at hand to answer.
This truly evil process works most of the time, for those particularly strong willed witches that either do not cooperate with their new patron or the matriarchy, they are declared to be N'Murk and given a brief opportunity to "toe the line" then they are either slain or hunted down and killed.

An organization of coordinated tribes
Susa was excited when she found out she was being selected to be on the witch council, I wasn't.  I was afraid it would mean the end of our friendship.  I was right, she came back ... different.... wrong somehow.  She had a new pet that was her best friend, not me.  She would stare at me with dark eyes.  I miss my friend even if I still see her around camp.
