The Dark Coast

The Dark Coast is stretch of coast along northern Atlantica that has a significant number of ruins each of which seems to give off the aura of being dirty or tainted. There have been an attempt or two to settle along this coast, far from the ruins, but the settlers have disappeared. The natives of the region are inhospitable at best. The Dark Coast extends from the tundral coast, down to the eastern most Swamp Coast.

The Dark Coast has indigenous populations that are descendants of those that were the last slaves of the K'Thonim . These peoples are a mixed bag of those that remember the slavery and reject it, and those that still worship the K'Thonum as Gods or Masters. They are weary of intruders as all to often intruders are deadly.

The K'Thonum were not shy about tinkering with the life of this dimension, there are many forms of abberations here, either as a direct product of K'Thonum tinkering or twisted by their last ditch attempts to ward off the magic that caused the The Great Darkening . An excellent example of this is the The Horrifying Jackalope . Nothing but the twisted mind of a K'Thonum could take a cute bunny and an innocent antelope and turn it into a hideous carnivore.
