    The Great Orcish Migration
    Population Migration / Travel

    The orcish warchief Garuk Thundermane convinced his tribe, of the largest orc tribes of the waste, to travel past the Mountains to the land beyond. Initially they tried to cross the Varkush Mountain Range but after heavy casualties and warring against the dwarves they were pushed east. They eventually crossed through the hills between the Varkush Mountain Range and the Eastern Ridge entering the Shattered Coastland and thriving there.

    The Founding of the Makonian Republic

    The City of Makonia became an influential power in it's region after conquering Brescia on what is now the Makonian Coast and beginning their colonial conquests.

    The Founding of the United Nations of Ruval
    Founding

    Originally there was just an alliance formed from three city-states in defense against the raiding tribes, the people of the wasteland and the Orcs of the waste. The lands between them became prosperous and safe with knights to protect them. Other neighbouring city-states saw this and sought to join in. Initially there was hesitation but after a vote by the leaders, it was agreed 2-1 that they would expand. So as of this date, the three state alliance began accepting new city-states and expanding as the United Nations of Ruval.

    The Makonian Republic expands sending its navy into the Shattered Coast conquering the native tribes and factions which inhabited the islands.

    The Gnomish city of Hupperdook opened it's gates and established trade with the outside world.

    Introduction of Vaults of Holding
    Technological achievement

    As the gates to Hupperdook opened their technologies were gradually shared with the world. One, at the time, medium sized business in Hupperdook called Tycoon Tech Inc. had invented Vaults of Holding. An advancement on the more simplified bag of holding this technology allowed the safe storage of their wealth in the vaults within Hupperdook and retrieval whenever needed. This invention spread throughout the kingdom and Tycoon Tech Inc. prospered.

    The Introduction of Blackpowder

    In Hupperdook the gnomes created a previously unknown chemical substance called Blackpowder. They had kept this from the world for a long time however, in 214 2E Bruon Built Co. started selling ceramic grenades to the Kingdom.

    The Introduction of the Cannon
    Technological achievement

    The Gnomes of Hupperdook had always had cannon defenses and for many years the Kingdom requested the gnomes to cede them the technology. Initially the Gnomes withheld due to risks of their use against them however, eventually Bruon Built Co. started mass producing them and selling them to the Kingdom. initially they were big cannons only used in forts and castles, human ingenuity lead to them being adapted to be smaller for use on ships too.

    The War on the Pirates

    The United Kingdom waged war against the pirates of the Shattered Coast and Jinse, almost killing them all before Corsair set sail for his people.

    Once again the Gnomes of Hupperdook brought about huge wealth to their city as Bruon Built Co. started selling the musket to the Kingdom.

    The Collapse of the Imperial Kingdom of Jinse
    Disbandment

    After the death of the King, Selvin Rajah, trust was a rare commodity in the Imperial Kingdom and their was a huge power vacuum. This lead to the royal family warring and several of his children making a claim the throne but none strong enough to take it. This caused Jinse to split into several warring regional factions.

    The Expansion of Ruval
    Military action

    With the trust in Jinse at an all time low and warlords establishing themselves throughout the land, Ruval sought to restore order. Moving their knights into western Jinse they defeated the warlords and imposed their rule on the lands up to the River Delta. With this invasion they conquered half of western Jinse.

    The Introduction of the Flintlock
    Technological achievement

    Although not as big of an introduction as the musket the flintlock allowed for easier access. These were especially useful in the time of war and the Hupperdookers developed a good relationship with the Makonian Empire selling the flintlocks to them.

    The Rise of the Emperor

    With the inaction and arguing of the Makonian Senate following the death of King Selvin Rajah, the then Admiral Enrico Falieri staged a coupe with the help of several senators and established martial control. He named himself the Emperor because in these changing times war could break out at any moment and Makonia needed action not arguing.

    The first war between all three nations, a war of two armies and one armada over the island of Hokau.

    All over the continent Dungeons rose from the earth and have offered wealth, prestige and power to those who can conquer them. It is said those who make it to the final room meet what appears to be old rulers, however, this is debated as there is no records of them.

    The Battle of Fort Worthy (Makonian Revolution)

    The emperor has kept the people of Makonia under his thumb for too long and discontent and anger has bubbled over as The New Senate stood to restore democracy to Makonia. With the aid of the Boatmen, they forced the Empire from the shores of Fort Worthy and reclaimed the Northern-most regions.
