Forgefather's Cathedral

The Forgefather's Cathedral in Ironhold is a magnificent structure built of sturdy stone and iron, reflecting the god's association with creation and metalworking. The name honors Moradin as the dwarven god of creation and patron of the forge, and suggests the grandeur and magnificence of the temple as a center of dwarven culture and worship. It has a towering entrance with two great iron doors, each adorned with intricate designs depicting the forging of metal and the creation of art.
Inside, the temple is spacious and awe-inspiring, with vaulted ceilings and grand columns made of stone and iron. The walls are adorned with murals and carvings depicting dwarven myths and legends, as well as scenes from the lives of great artisans and craftspeople.
In the center of the temple is a large altar, surrounded by rows of benches where worshippers can kneel and pray. The altar is made of a single piece of gleaming iron, shaped into the likeness of Moradin himself, and surrounded by offerings of precious metals and gemstones.
Around the altar, there are smaller shrines dedicated to other deities or aspects of dwarven life, such as the forge, the mines, or the clan ancestors. Each of these shrines are adorned with offerings and symbols representing their respective domains.
Overall, this grand temple to Moradin is a breathtaking testament to the dwarven love of craftsmanship and their devotion to their patron god. It is a place of great reverence and solemnity, but also of joy and celebration, as the dwarves gather to honor their traditions and share in the bonds of community and faith.
