Cael'nae Woods
Geography
An ancient primeval forest that is a source of much fear and foreboding. As the name suggests any who draw near will soon hear the whisper of arrows as several hundred warning shots are fired by the Centaur guardians that dwell within. None have made it more than a mile within without the will of the Grovemother. The dense underbrush and massive trees make navigation nearly impossible, as the woods seem to be alive. The depths of the forest stretches for 5 miles along the circumference of Cael'nae Woods before the density lessens and the Sacred Orchard replaces the claustrophobic dread of the tangled forest.
Fauna & Flora
The fauna is typical of a temperate forest with an extraordinary abundance of Shambling Mounds.
