Gatal Military

The military of the dwarven nation of Gatal on the island of Kunau.
It's current General is Skafar Grom.
Though quite small in comparison to the militaries of the people from the mainland it is still a formidable force.
It is a mix of professional full-time soldiers and militia.

Unlike Human militaries where the only option is to purchase your own equipment, here the Kingdom provides well made equipment to its soldiers but allows the option to bring own equipment.

It mainly clashes with the Orcs of Mugub.
Though there have been instances where small skirmishes have been fought in the past with the Elves of Alfalya due to disagreements about tree cutting quotas that were demanded by the elves as well as some random attacks by the Elves.

Structure

At the top is the General who makes the main decisions.
Underneath him are several Commanders who lead their own "Barwri" which is Dwarven for group of dwarven soldiers. This group can range anywhere from 1000 to 10,000 soldiers. Underneath the Commanders are "Sargents" that lead their own section of soldiers that ranges anywhere from 10 to 100 soldiers.
