Kazad Kvinn

A ruined dwarven hold in the Grom Karak mountains. It was originally built by Karak Lok in 742.
A great item of importance that was held here was the Rune Magic Slate.
It was attacked and destroyed in October of 956 by a sizable elven force of kingdom Annotii fielding moving trees as siege engines and using high elf mages as support to break through the hold's gate.
