The Sphere

Measuring 300 feet across and floating just above the ground, this perfectly mirrored sphere seems impervious to any probing.
In the spring of 992, a farmer struck this object with a shovel while digging a well. It attracted the attention of scholars of all kinds, who excavated a huge pit around the sphere. For nearly five years, people camped here, trying to penetrate the mysterious surface, scry through it, or even scratch it with tools or magic.
No one has ever been able to affect it in any way at all, and over time, those excited scholars departed. Even the farmer left eventually, and now the sphere hovers in the pit, not interacting with anything at all.

It was destroyed in late summer of 1003 by the demon Aletto to release Hadupirama.
