Episode 10: Sea Salt Whispers

General Summary

Last we left our heroes in an all or nothing fight on the decks of the Sea Ghost clashing with pirates led by the cruel and cunning captain Grimtusk. Through grit and determination our heroes were not shaken by the onslaught of odds against them. Time was on their side, the rest of the crew have not yet arrived due to their successful stealth attempt, they pressed this advantage by quick and decisive work. Captain Grimtusk while a veteran of the seas and being a former Sea Prince, was perhaps overconfident, that overconfidence quickly ended when unsettling whispers of the echos of Konna's power entered into his mind. This allowed Grimtusk to be held and severally smitten with justice from Valcore while the rest of our heroes kept the other pirates at bay. During the battle it seems that Sailith had finally finished his prototype, a firearm of devastating power, this was certainly an unforeseen surprise for his friends. With their captain subdued, Valcore and Konna in a rousing display push the rest of the crew to surrender and accept Valcore and the rest of the Strangers as their captain and new ship officers. Through their investigation of the Sea Ghost itself it was revealed that a group of Lizardfolk have been passengers of the vessel, a large payment was given in exchange of delivering the goods to a undisclosed delivery point. These goods are a large amount of martial weaponry, crossbows and spears and shields embroidered with a Lizardfolk Symbol. Obvious the Lizardfolk are planning something, but what? And why did they mention that "Dugang would also not survive the coming invasion." ? Among the investigation a prisoner was found, a Quaren named Oceanus, the young man was thankful and more than willing to offer help to his saviors and is now a new member of this intrepid crew. The new captain of the Sea Ghost convinced the Lizardfolk to allow a detour to Dugang to give the wanted Grimtusk to authorities and report the latest findings to Eliander. But they also agreed to deliver the Lizardfolk to their destination with their cargo. Our heroes have taken a big step, now masters of their own vessel, and perhaps their own destiny, they are starting to involve with bigger forces at work. What will come of our heroes?
