Session 8: Sinister Secret of Dugang Report

General Summary

Last we left our heroes, they were investigating the abandon house, the property belongs to the Calenden family but with no signs of them doing anything with this property, it was starting to feel like a goose chase, only being poked and prodded by the creepy crawling things that have taken residence. But footprints and investigation has led our heroes to a secret cellar level where smugglers have taken residence. Smugglers led by a narcissist human named Sanbalet. Our heroes triggering the loud sound traps and making large amount of noise to procure quite nice armor for Valcore and the occasional burning rot grubs off their skin has alerted the smugglers to our heroes. Now alert and ready the smugglers were sure they could fight off these intruders. They were wrong. Through courage and grit, relying on each others various strengths and skills manage to overcome the smugglers and come out as the victor! With the surviving smugglers surrendered and their moral broken. The fate of these smugglers is up to these 5 strangers. Also in their investigation they went to a section of the house locked off and barred by the smugglers, unwilling to even figure out what lies behind the door. But our heroes had more courage. They uncovered the moving bones of a strange parasitic creature that attached to the bones. The houses previous owner, now a walking mass of fungal growths. What caused this? Its hard to say. But treasure and gold awaited their success.
