Arlendon's Royal Garden

The royal garden in the castle Arlendon in Ilvoy - EN the capital of Ilrny - EN, is one of the most beautiful gardens in Aurin. There are plants and herbs you usually can't find anywhere else, that grow there. They have a pavilion full of roses and a small lake that runs through the garden. It is like its own little magical hidden place in the castle. And at night you can see the fireflies light up the trees, bushes, plants, herbs, and pathways through the garden. Or by the fountain where you can hide if you don’t want to attend the royal ball at the castle. Something the princesses and princes of Ilrny usually take advantage of.

Syfte / Funktion

Because of the Evenbanes family’s love for plants, herbs and healing they created a garden in the castle full of different plants and herbs. They could easily pick from use for healing the sick and wounded, and when they founded the Wenekadi monastery for healing they started with gathering the plants and herbs from the royal garden, to use for their healing and potions. And they still do sometimes, when the greenhouse has run out of supplies.

Historia

Like every other elf, the Evenbane family have a strong respect for nature. They were the first family to win the throne of Ilrny after the twelve clans decided to turn against each other. When they won the throne of Ilrny they started the garden. A garden that flourished very quickly with the help of the tree Genesis. The land did not have a permanent place where you could heal your wounds or go to if you got sick.
Before the capitol was founded, they had the personal healers of the clans. And the Evenbane family was the healers of their clan. So, when they won the throne, they knew they needed a garden for different herbs and plants to heal the sick and wounded. Mainly because they needed more supplies for healing. And now they had a whole garden they could use to their advantage for just that.
They had plans to build a monastery a long time ago but because of the clan Yalong’s greed, they had to put those plans on hold. But a while down the road an Evenbane founded the Wenekadi monastery. And the healers at the monastery can go as they please to pluck from the garden if they need herbs or plants, that they can't find in the monasteries greenhouse or if they have run out of stock.
