Dragoon, the Blood Dragon

Dragoon, also known as "the Blood Dragon", is the patron goddess of all dragonkind, and eternal God-Empress of Caldera.
Dragoon, along with her sister goddess Typhoon, created the first dragons in an event called the First Hatching. These offspring would go on to conquer the world, using the powerful magical lore bequeathed to them by their mother-goddess to forge an ancient empire that, at it's zenith, spanned the entire globe. Yet in their arrogance, the dragons inevitably turned on one another. This greatly displeased Dragoon, who felt that her creations had failed in all they were meant to be. She cast down her wayward children, and created the Dragonborn as a new race to stand against her failed brood.
But Dragoon's disappointment did not end there, for many of her new children would ultimately turn on her as well, blaming her for the devastation the dragons had caused. This massive exodus of followers, both those who were slain and those who abandoned her worship, began to greatly reduce her powers. It is through worship that a deity maintains their divine power, and the loss of so many devoted subjects left Dragoon a shell of her former self. What's worse, the blood magic humans had learned from their dragon overlords had been perverted and misused, creating vampires and other abominable things in her name.
In here sorrow, Dragoon, once the preeminent deity of the material plane, descended into a deep brooding slumber. Her remaining priests preform rituals to divine her will within her holy throne city of Caldera, but ultimately she directly speaks to no one.
Among the polytheistic religions of Auvia, Dragoon is a primary deity in the Draconic Pantheon, and an evil deity in the Giant pantheon, the Son's of the Titan.
