Maliss Joins the Hungry Yaks

The Party discovered the presence of cultists in the town of Banshaw, and rescued a kidnapped warlock girl in the basement of a hideout. After disposing of the cultists, discovering some secrets and rescuing the warlock, the party adopted her into their ranks and fled the scene.

After noticing the presence of cult iconography on two inconspicuous civilians moving through the street, Pebble and Saradac traced some footsteps and discovered a cult hideout in an alley near the back of the town. The pair disguised themselves as cultists of importance, and preceded to trick the other cultists to showing them what was inside, where they discovered a Yuan-Ti pureblood warlock girl in the basement, tied to a chair. They attempted to rescue her without a fight, but the rest of the party swiftly joined in and caused conflict in the basement. A fight broke out, and the cultists were killed with the help of Maliss.   After the battle, Khori, Pebble and Saradac tracked down and apprehended a seemingly unaware, fearful boy named Joshua Marbold, and ordered him to get lost and not to alert the cult of the party's shenanigans.   The rest of the party, investigating the hideout, found:

• Four vials of Phase Spider Venom, as well as notes on tests to prolong the venom's toxicity
• Reports of an attempted ritual to bring Maliss into their ranks
• Research on plane crystals and the beginning formula for the plane shift spell
