After four long years of navigating the vast expanse of the cosmos, skillfully weaving through a treacherous field of asteroids and comets,
Sonia CC-1 finally arrived at her long-awaited destination. Before her, loomed Caconicara, a colossal planet whose surface was draped in an eerie darkness that seemed almost palpable. The edges glowed faintly, illuminated by the distant star behind it, casting an ethereal light that contrasted starkly with the surrounding void. The planet was enveloped in swirling clouds of thick purple and pink hues, creating a surreal and captivating sight, almost as if it were alive. With her advanced built-in camera, Sonia skillfully captured the breathtaking image of the mysterious planet and in mere moments, the stunning visual was transmitted back to Home Base.
The first - and last - picture taken by Sonia CC-1
As Sonia circled the planet, diligently recording the fantastic landscapes below, her exploration was abruptly interrupted by a sudden and unimaginable shockwave that rippled through space, sending her tumbling helplessly through the infinite expanse, hurtling hundreds of feet away from her intended path and destroying her body.
Despite the satellite being in pieces, Sonia’s resilient programming allowed her to persist, continuing her recordings for two more weeks before another monumental shockwave struck and destroyed her camera, ending her incredible journey.

The disassembled parts of Sonia CC-1 were recovered by
Recon Probe SN and brought back to Home Base for recycling and repurposing. The recorded video, sent to our supercomputer during her active status, was retrieved and viewed. At the point of interest, the video played as follows:
Sonia CC-1 slowly orbits Caconicara, capturing the planet's thick, swirling clouds and the darkness below. Suddenly, a deafening noise erupts, registering only for a brief moment, just as Sonia is sent hurtling into the distance, spinning uncontrollably. After a wild spin, she eventually comes to a stop, and several pieces of her begin to float into view. For the next two weeks, the satellite continues to record Caconicara as it drifts idly through space. Then, the same deafening noise is heard for a split second before Sonia's camera shuts off for good.
