Ysteria A Magical Forest Run by Witches

Two hundred years ago, four witches running away from an angry mob came across a forest that was nothing but dead trees and brown grass, way out in the sticks. Seeing an opportunity to escape, the witches conjured a thicket of sharp vines, poisonous foliage, venomous snakes, and large boulders to surround it and ward off their pursuers.
They then spread their magic everywhere to liven up the place, sprouting plants and trees and giving them magic. And thus, Ysteria was created.
