Aesin
God of Light
Aesin is the Estrialist God of Light. He is one of the religion's eight greater deities - this grants him the huge responsibility of bringing light to the 24 Realms after his twin sister Destryn lifts her dark spell from the sky. Aesin is usually depicted as a Deva with long waves of white hair that exceeds lengths upwards of three metres (in some interpretations, his hair is shorter or worn in a braided topknot). He's often portayed in flowing white robes embroidered with characters of ancient texts and always wears a blindfold patterned in red and gold as legend has it, anybody who looks into his eyes is met with so much light that it blinds them. Aesin is Neutral Good, oppositely aligned to his sister, and is described as incredibly patient, amicable and calming to those around him. He also thinks wisely and sensibly, making him a voice of reason amongst the Gods. Aesin is mainly worshipped by Light Domain Clerics and various Oaths of Paladins. His divine symbol is a Silver Lantern.
"The best part of worshipping Aesin is that you literally get to smite evil with the power of the sun."
