Overview

Estrialism is a Pantheonic religion deriving from 36th Century BXR Western Alcyrne based on an order of deities that watch over the 24 Realms. Estrialism is Avalǿn's most widespread religion, with an estimated 330 million followers across the plane. Its adherents, known as Estrialists, believe that the discordant energies of the universe are distributed between a pantheon of 32 Gods, each of which uses their power to control one aspect of the Realms. These Estrialist devotees also believe that without this multitude of Gods, the world would fall apart.
Estrialism is a direct adversary to the Monotheistic religion of Mesilism, which conversely believes that the universe is under the control of one Overgod: Neryn. These stark differences in theology have pitted the two against each other for several thousands of years, resulting in many bloody conflicts. Relations today are still strained, with a brutal Civil War sparked by the schism raging on in Western Σu'ryxia.
