Lymins Tribe
The Lymins Tribe is a circle of Moon Druids situated in the Ambrose Canopy. Descendants of the Au'ori Elves, the tribe carries with it a powerful bloodline, with powers that only get passed down to the worthy of the group, referred to as the 'gift'. Their original home was the Devilwood Thicket, just 10 miles from Terren, though as the Everen Empire expanded during the turn of the century, Mesilist soldiers were quick to pillage the tribe and burn their village down in a raid they refer to as the 'schism', forcing the tribe to relocate further west into the Ambrose Canopy, where the Empire has a weaker political hold.
The structure of the tribe is very reminiscent of the Renari Elves, with the Elodin (leader) of the tribe being chosen as a capable leader that prioritises the survival of the tribe above anything else. The Elodin of the Lymins Tribe is Daeridan Cedarwish, a Renari Wood Elf and survivor of the schism who took the tribe under his wing when they relocated to the Alta-Nova Coast. Underneath the Elodin is the Ovate, a council of 3 Elders who act as seers and oracles of the tribe, supposedly having the ability to communicate with the spirits of the forest; the oldest and most notable of these being Xlourdiscaern Lvdordspsp - nobody is quite sure how old he is, as throughout the tribe's history he has always been described as ancient. Him and Rostliem Mythorn are the only known members of the Lymins Tribe to have inherited the gift. Protecting and providing for the tribe are the Nwythre, a society of the tribe's strongest and most capable men who gather food and resources whilst also defending the tribe from invaders.
Akin to many druids, the Lymins Tribe work in amity with nature and the natural world, with some members providing service to the Conclave of Creation as part of their Awen duty. The tribe are Mesilist, believing in Neryn as the Overgod of the natural world, though have no affiliation with the Empire. The druids have a special fascination with Ixaris, the furthest of Avaløn's three moons, due to the fact that they associate its green tint with nature.
