Silas
God of Time
Silas is the Estrialist God of Time. Thought to be the oldest of the eight greater deities, Silas watches over the timeline to assure that history is running its course accordingly and has the power to rewrite the past should it go awry, though seldom does so. He is the only one of the Gods that knows the fate of the 24 Realms at the end of time, and refuses to share the secret in case an alternate branch of history is formed. His primary avatar is an elderly gnome with a bushy grey beard and a wooden pipe. The clothes he wears are rugged; a look he's convinced himself is 'timeless'. Silas is Chaotic Neutral, often being depicted as a stubborn old soul that's gone slightly mad through constantly being subject to everything, everywhere, all at once. A grouchy recluse, the God of Time locks himself away in his tiny study room every hour of the day to brood over the timeline, rarely giving more than a few words followed by a humble and a grumble to anybody who comes to check on him. Silas is mainly worshipped by Clerics of Knowledge and Order, and Oath of the Ancients Paladins. His divine symbol is an ornate brass Pocket Watch.
