Vjölkendar

The Iron City

Vjölkendar is a city located inside the hollowed Mt. Khro, the tallest peak of The Iron Maw. It acts as the Dwarven Capital City of Qaruno and has a population of approximately 46,500. Vjölkendar (formerly Vjölga'arth) was founded in 1215 BXR by Ustric Rockjaw and his crew during the colonization of Qaruno. Vjölga'arth was chosen as the Capital City due to its location on the richest mountain - Mt. Khro. During this time, many Dwarves migrated up north to seize their fortune. The city was renamed Vjölkendar in 479 BXR.
