Rainbow Lodge

Located near the shores of the Bay of Seasons in the town of Jonah, the Rainbow Lodge offers both lodging and food to locals and travelers alike. This two-story building is made from both wood and glass. The glass allowing the natural sunlight to shine in during the day and the stars to twinkle upon the guests at night.

Architecture

This two-story wooden lodge looks pretty rustic from the outside. Build in a log cabin style - large logs crisscrossed. Large glass panes are fitted on the entry wall on both the first and second story. Fitted into the center top of both the front and back angled roof is another set of glass panes.    There is a small wooden fence, about two feet tall that starts at the front corner of the lodge and comes out about thirty feet from the building. A large smoke stack can be seen coming out from the top of the left side of the roof. There is a ten-foot opening at the front of the fence that leads to the double-door entry into the lodge. A path of small pebbles leads from the opening in the fence to the entry doors.
First Floor
Upon entering the lodge, there is a large a large hearth built into the left wall and a stone smoke stacks that goes all the way to the top of the ceiling. Along the back wall is a long bar and a check-in desk. Behind the bar is a small hallway that leads to the kitchen and owner's rooms. In the left and right back corner are wooden spiral stairs that lead to the second floors. Looking up guests can see a large balcony that wraps around the edges of the wall, leaving an opening in the center of the second floor, allowing the sun to shine into the lodge during the day and the moonlight in during the night. Tables are positioned sporadically around the main room.    Another hallway can be seen along the right side wall. This hallway leads into some private rooms. One of which is used as a local gambling room, another room where patrons can purchase baths, and another for massages.
Second Floor
A wide balcony lines the wall of the second floor. Along the back and right side wall are small rooms for overnight guests. Along the front wall are large glass pane windows. In front of the windows are large logs that have been carved and worked into couches. There are cushy sewn cushions on the seat of the couches. In the front corners of balcony are small braziers with hot coals - providing a small amount of light and warmth.
