Upper Deck

The Upper Deck is a broad name given to the highest reaches of Caldera, and is home to much of the Krosian working class. A majority of the city's most successful taverns and pubs can be found here, given that they are in the prime location to receive a worker's hard-earned crowns before they reach The River.
Great wooden bridges with well-fashioned handrails make up the "roads" of Caldera, granting citizens a footpath across the ravine that splits the man-made chasm. As the rough-and-tumble township expanded downward, the Artisan's Guild saw fit to construct several wooden elevators, making it much easier to traverse the expanse. Thus was the township divided into its distinct sections.
