Session 33: The Ritual Report
General Summary
The party along with a handfull of survivors from the attack on Fort Gronn made their way northeast to Ironhammer Hold.
Along the way they spotted giant humanoids in the unexplored mountains to the east.
Avoided a clash between a band of Gnolls and the undead.
Were sniffed out by a pair of ogres that they managed to defeat easily.
Arrived at Ironhammer hold and greeted by Yulgor Battlehammer who showed them around.
Wushuu bought an enchanted gauntlet to replace his lost hand.
Tinkerer sold some old Dwarvern currency and bought a quiver of arrow making.
The party arrived at Sentinel's Hold and were introduced to Elthar Cinderwood who explained the situation to them.
The party agreed to stand guard while the druids of the Veridian Conclave began the ritual to cultivate a Gatreas plant, allowing for rapid transport between The Reach and Draigmaw Vale.
The spirits of the forest attacked and the party was unable to convince them of their good intentions.
Weathering the strikes of dryads until the massive Treant known as Gnarlbranch arrived the party was able to defeat them and return their spirits to the forest before the ritual could be ruined.
The Gatreas was successfully bloomed and the quest completed. Wushuu was rewarded with a Trident of the Dryad.
