General Summary
- we take a long rest
- we roll up to the compound
- in the treeline 200ft away
- theyve cut down a bunch of the trees to make it harder to spy on them
- theyve excavated the area and have the Sanguine Queensguard
- theyre paying an exorbitant amount of gold to kill/protect someone by killing another someone. who or what? who knows!
- morgan casts a silly little spell (prying eye)
- he looks around the first floor + basement of compound
- rune under the desk that functions like a button
- in the very humanly designed basement, he finds the treasure room
- Areia Cu'Onda doing a fiend summoning ritual (psychopomp ritual already done), she is like 6 months pregnant
- morgan ruins the summoning circle, she starts crying, the imp starts comforting her
- morgan ends the spell
- they go on high alert
- we see the transport carrying the doctor (Trenok Lothis) to the compound
- morgan does a switcheroo so that yivins going to the compound instead
- yivin lying mission lets goooo
- we interrogate the doctor while morgan messages yivin
- we learn that the cu'ondas were cursed, likely by someone's dying breath, to have a wasting disease
- the doctor's been sending supplies to keep someone with the disease alive (so theres someone alive with it, but not areia)
- areias been getting stronger since getting pregnant
- the disease is somewhat similar to wasting diseases from netherim
- she suddenly started using magic since getting pregnant (but he doesnt know anything about magic)
- we send him back to the clinic
- yivin time!
- check up on the baby while being checked up on morgan
- the baby has extraplanar vibes
- its most likely an alignment extraplanar vs astral or elemental
- extraplanars are not people but more energies, but by changing who they are they can change what they are
- if you are a demon and follow asmodeus (does not exist, just example), you look the same but are considered a devil
- she says shes been visited by the dad who she thinks is an angel who is blessing her with a baby to end the curse
- they met, 4 month gap, 1st, 14th, 21st, 25th, last week, appears like angel in holy scriptures, came to time of need once enemy of them was revealed
- name of the angel is Valerio Rend (might actually be Lucius Valerius?)
- there are extra defenses because she believes that the son of her deceased rival is out to get her (i wonder who that could be. definitely not D'Volta Aomar)
- but most of us dont know that ^
- the baby is protected
- whoever made the baby really wants it be born
- the assistant was also very keen on the defenses getting taken down, but yknow for the sake of the baby :)
- she starts getting testy bc yivins asking too many questions, so he leaves
- we meet back at the dropped anchor
- korkau has been stealing from the party???? lets go back to that later.
- morgan reveals that he knows that the blackfrost agents and the church agents both think that the cu'ondas have captured us, and that the blackfrost is planning on raiding the compound
- morgan vs korkau lie to me time
- morgan is gathering information
