Terrain: Clai’L’Daen is a tidally locked planet, meaning it’s rotation is synced with its star such that the same side of the world is always facing it. This creates very unique phenomena, such as there being no day/night cycle with the permanent day side being a hot and desolate desert and the night side a frigid but equally desolate wasteland. All of the inhabitants of the world live in the sweet spot right in between these two polar opposite environments, spanning its entire circumference. This area, unlike the other near-halves, is quite pleasant and green, with forests, savannas, and even some small oceans.
Culture: The Niamari Collective prides themselves on their art and culture of all kinds, music to painting, to theatre, to language. In addition, they are very communal, even though they do not have traditional family structures do the Niamari biology. Instead, they choose their “family” communities and typically stay associated with these people in groups of usually around 10-20 for their whole lives.
Military: While they do love the arts, the people of this planet do not slack when it comes to military matters either. They by no means have a particularly militaristic culture, but have a sizable defense budget, which gained its largest increase when it seemed like they might be invaded by the surrounding Minotaur Dictatorship. Niamari ships are typically disk shaped and operate with tremendous efficiency due to the physically connected nature of their race, making them quite formidable for their relatively small size.
