Pia’veno (P-eye-uh-ven-oh)

Anatomy
Pia’veno trees are devoid of almost all pigment, resulting in them being a translucent very light pink color during the day. At night however, their bioluminescent sap activates, causing the entire tree to grow bright pink to attract bugs to come and spread their seed. This also results in glowing bugs departing the tree, as the sap itself is what creates the glow. This has lead to many gawking at the beauty of these pretty trees which are native to the planet Iaa, the Saurian Empire planet of Acadia even going so far as to acquire enough of the planet to start it’s own local population. These alien plants had to be planted in the generally more rocky and slightly mountainous environments on Acadia as their preferred environment on their home planet is fairly rocks and rough.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Some cities and large ships use the sap or occasionally even the entire tree, artificially planted, to light up certain areas and spaces. Notably this is a sought after perk of higher class living areas on Acadia.
