Terrain: Acadia is a Gaia world, and has the most plentiful resources of any other Saurian planet. Naturally, this has been fantastic for the planet’s economy, making it one of the richest planets as well, second only to Sauria itself. While Acadia does have massive population as well as huge cities spanning hundreds of square miles, most of the surface’s natural beauty is left untouched as Acadia has hundreds of floating cities either hovering a mile above the crust or all the way in high orbit. This makes the planet a desirable vacation spot and is the abode of choice for many a rich Saurian lord. The planet is comprised mostly of ocean and temperate jungles and forests. There are also vast expanses of underground seas and jungles lit be naturally luminescent crystals sprouting from the rock, also a highly valuable commodity with many different uses.
Culture: As previously mentioned, the majority of people residing on Acadia are quite wealthy, feeding the planets already amazing economy greatly. Generally the richer and vacationing live on the beautiful surface while the lower classes and residents reside in the floating cities. While much resource harvesting is performed, it is always replaced so as to retain a maintainable source of income. Additionally, a sort of religion has formed on the planet revolving around environmental protection, leading to many Acadian soldiers having an uncharacteristic care for collateral damage. Unbeknownst to these religious members, who are against what they view as destroying natural resources, most mining and harvesting accuse in the underground jungles of the planet. The average civilian life of Acadia consists of either working on a floating city or flying down to the surface to mine or otherwise harvest the planets natural resources. Alternatively, they could choose to join the military.
Military: Naturally Acadia has one of the strongest defense forces of any planet in the Saurian Empire, so as to protect it from those who would like to claim it for its natural beauty and natural plentiful resources. Because Acadia is so wealthy it’s soldiers are very highly trained, no expense spare in the protection of the planet. Acadia also supplies a large amount of troops for use in the Saurian war machine. Soldier are highly honored and respected on Acadia, more so than some other planet. As such, they are better equipped and dressed (their uniforms are often quite showy, ornate, and brightly colored), sometimes making them more arrogant and overconfident in their abilities, though not always without cause. Acadian soldiers pride themselves on their valor and discipline, not retreating (within reason of course; they are no Varn), and displaying valiant acts of heroism in the heat of battle.
