The Garnailia (G-are-n-eye-lee-uh)

The Garnailia was a luxury yacht custom built to undertake the record breaking political maritime achievement of circumventing the entirety of Avendora's circumference, making political talks and negations all along the way as well as providing for a quite luxurious experience for those onboard. This was partially of note as up until that point the Goran Clans had refused to get involved in almost any way in galactic politics aside from signing onto the Alphega Accords. The ship itself had been created as a collaboration and sharing of technology with both the Atalanti Republic and the Foxan Star Court as a way to start off political talks and display good faith. This hopeful even was sadly tarnished when on her way to meet up with her full escort, The Garnailia was intercepted and captured by the Minotaur Dictatorship, beginning the chain of events that would eventually spark The Gorn Strait Conflict.

History: After the Minotaur ransom failed and the Gorans refused to negotiate, several of the passengers were executed while the rest were enslaved and put to work on Tor. Fortunately, most of these slaves were safely returned to their home countries after the war had ended as part of the treaty that was struck to resolve the conflict. As for the vessel itself, it was stripped and studied for its more advanced technology by the Minotaurs before being eventually abonded in a scrap yard. Years after the war it was recovered and transported back to Gorn where it was converted into a memorial and museum dedicated to the events and victims of The Gorn Strait Conflict.
