The Silver Council
Structure
The Silver Council is made up of the three leaders of the Basilikaar Dynasty, The Judge, The Warrior, and The Mystic. The Judge's role is to hear and judge the common people as well as other litigious and geopolitical matters, often with very harsh penalty. The Warrior commands the armies of the Dyansty and has final say over any decisions regarding the military in addition to leading his armies personally into battle on rare occasions. Last, the Mystic studies matters of philosophy, statecraft, and the arcane, imparting his wisdom as well as undertaking many other various mystical tasks.
Culture
As The Three are seen as dieties by the Basilikaari peiple, no individual is ever permitted to gaze upon the true bodies of a council member aside from their closest personal servants and bodyguards. This also applies to hearing the voices of the imposing leaders. Instead, when they must communicate, the kings will speak through a translator servitor who they are psychically linked with. Alternatively, they will communicate through actions, often swift and violent. The people glorify and even pray to the Silver Council as if they were true gods, which many likely beleive wholeheartedly. Even those who don't believe in the divinity of their leaders are totally and utterly devoted to them, any one of them willing to fall on their own blade at a word. Any that would disrespect them are instantly ostracized and outcast from society if not killed outright, as blasphemy against the council is a capitol offense. In addition, no civilian is allowed to adress or even look directly at one of The Three, instead conversing with their seevitor or otherwise protesting themselves and talking up from the ground. It is also considered sacralge for a council member to tread on unconsecrated ground, meaning tha whenever they leave their palaces or previously consecrated places a special tiled mat must be rolled out in front of them as they walk. If this cannot be achieved, servants will willingly and even eagerly offer their own bodies to be tread upon instead of tainted ground.
History
The Silver Council has ruled over the Basilikaar Dynasty for time immemorial. The true identities of its members has never been revealed, and their succession is never made public knowledge. The only reason anyone knows the council isn't made up of the same members it began with is due to astute observers noting the occasional in height of the ruling figures.
Territories
The three members will often be seperated to preform their various tasks of leadership or otherwise residing within their prestigious fortress-palaces. On matters of great importance or negotiation/communication with other nations, the three will convene so that their collective expertise can be focused on the same task.
