The agro world of Verreen is the single largest supplier of food to the Saurian Empire. It is so ideal for agriculture due to its almost year-round temperate climate and fertile soil. The surface of Verreen is covered mostly in plains, forests, and ocean, farms of all types sprawling across thousands of miles of land. There are even special floating biodomes for growing more exotic water world food. Due to the large forests lumber is also a big industry on Verreen, lumber mills scattered throughout the planet.
Culture:
Culture on Verreen consist of mainly agriculture and pacifism. Mainly the population of Verreen is against any violence toward other sentient beings, though many are also against violence towards creatures of any kind. Because of this, not much hunting takes place on the planet, even though it has very abundant wildlife, on both land and sea. Even rarer are people who are against violence against any living things, including plants. This leads to some conflicts (of strong words only of course) with the lumber mill workers.
Military:
Due to Verrin’s pacifistic nature, the planet has no standing military, much to the disapproval of the Saurian government, instead relying on Saurian National Warriors as their defense force. Part of the reason for the lack of concern for self preservation is Verreen’s location, which is in the heartland of the Saurian Empire, far away from any borders or external conflicts. Very rarely in the planet’s entire history has there been any fighting on the planet of any kind.
