A large saucer like creature with a long tail with poisonous barbs trailing behind it. The flattened body of the stingray makes it a great ambush predator. It will hide its sandy brown body in the sand of shallow water and spring up to attack prey or defend itself. Because of the location of a stingray's eyes they hunt using the tremors that prey make through the water and in the sand to determine when to pop out of their hiding spot.
