Eldon arrived in Craven's rest along with Amethyst and Lucas. He spends most of his time reading and writing in his books. He has a number of visible technological items on him including a shoulder-mounted weapon, a manatech gauntlet, and a homunculus that can form into a chest piece. He seems more interested in knowledge than the safety of others.
He is related (distantly) to the owner and craftsman at Nimbus' Creations and is trying to get resources to craft items of a dubious and destructive nature. Nimbus has offered a remote location where Eldon can work without jeapardizing the town. He has made a breakthrough using the Slaad mesh as a catalyst but needs one more component to complete his apparatus.
In Port Oruss, Eldon met Nils Prepsel, a fellow artificer at a shop called the Clockwork Emporium. There he purchased the last component for his appartus along with a tome for learning Runesmithing. He was also successful in his first extortion attempt with the owner of the Mystic Menagerie. Unfortunately, the man is dead now - killed and taken away by a queen of the Fae.
Upon returning to Craven's Rest, Eldon used the new workshop at the manor to complete his lifelong project, the Mizzium Apparatus. Now he can focus on dozens of other projects, including spells, runecrafting, and new manatech devices. He's also created Mizzium mortar and a few useful mana-tech items.
Eldon received a book dealing with the resting place of Ambros Kahl, the dwarf king who pioneered many forms of rune magic. He does intend to explore that place someday to learn the secrets within.
Eldon has retired in Raven's Crest, living in the Draemark house along with Audrey. He is focusing on the defense of the city and his various projects.
