Hunt for the Elder Blackcoat - Resolved

Trevor has asked the group to help him track down and kill his brother after evidence was discovered that he had killed their parents. Fact-finding in Port Oruss turned up two leads: 1st) the Rangers spotted him a few weeks ago in the town of Bayview to the south. 2nd) Ten days ago, he was in Port Oruss where he purchased an Amulet of Non-detection from the Mystic Menagerie.
Eldon received word that Sebastian visited an Alchemist in Port Oruss, the Steelwind flask. He learned from the warforged shopkeeper that his brother was trying to by ingredients, specifically Snakeweed, Moonrot Flower and Scalebane. All three ingredients can be used as toxins and/or narcotics. The first two are only found in Silverleaf Village to the north.
On their way back to Raven's Crest after stopping at Invarnak's tower, the party spotted a wounded person fleeing a dark-cloaked figure. The wounded man was Brevelor, the leader of the travelling herbalists that the party encountered earlier in their travels. The man pursuing him was Sebastian Blackcoat. After a tense exchange, Seb explained that a wagon similar to Brevelor's visited his village and gave a powerful narcotic to Seb and Trev's father. It led to the death of him and their mother and Seb went out on the road to hunt down those responsible.
Seb has aggreed to work with Eldon and Trevor at the manor house in Raven's Crest.
