Queen Consort Ielenia Lunaria

She seems to be a walking contradiction. On the one hand, she enjoys the company of others during one of her lavish royal events. Most guests know her face. Those same people cannot tell you how much power she wields nor anything else beyond her radiant personality.

Overview

They say that there is a power behind every throne, and the Queendom of Lunaria is not exempt from this somewhat strange phenomena. There are some who believe that Ielenia Lunaria holds more power than her wife, Queen Shava Lunaria, due to her greater outgoing nature. It is a somewhat paradoxical situation. Despite the fact that her image is well known, the true extent of her influence is not. Whenever one can inquire Ielenia directly as to her influence of royal matters their attention is always deftly redirected to some other issue. It helps that everyone has some kind of immediate problem to solve.

Only One Crown

Ielenia does not hold the title of Queen as Lunarian law allows for only one supreme head of state. Discussions over developing a dual crown system as seen in the Kingdom of Vhara have occurred, but the Lunarians consistently conclude that the complexity of such a system would only be wasteful. Especially now when their attention needs to focus on preparing for war with the Queendom's rival, the Kingdom of Helia. Therefore, Ielenia is a Queen-Consort. It is rumored that she has expressed displeasure at this state of affairs in private, though such rumors have been denied.
Of course, if the other rumor of her power is true then it does not matter if she formally wears a crown or not.

The reserved Queen Shava must be relieved to have someone like Ielenia who can keep the crowds distracted during those obligatory royal events.

A Renowned Host

Ielenia seems to revel in the pleasures of a formal event much to the chagrin of her wife. Ielenia certain doesn't waste time to greet her guests. Word has it that she is an excellent judge of character. A trait that has no doubt helped the Queendom open relations with powers receptive to an offer of alliance.
Bards, dancers, and others of similar kind are excited by the opportunity to perform at one of Ielenia's royal banquets and fetes as much as they dread it. Ielenia likes to hold all servants to high standards. No one can deny the quality of the results though. Every royal banquet and fete is lauded by its honored guests.
