Travelers

There are people who grow by climbing ladders, and there are people who grow by wandering.
— Phidi Stridheart, Traveler

Overview

Travelers like to travel. Why they like to travel depends on the individual. Some travel to see the world, others to find some truth, and others to leave behind a past.   Most travelers when asked would call their travels and the knowledge they trade a profession.

Sources of Acquired Knowledge

Travelers are often consulted for their newfound knowledge should the settlement of their lodging know about their presence. In particular, Travelers know much about the world's geography from streams to lakes and from forests to floating islands. Their knowledge of the physical features of the land is highly prized among cartographers. Travelers also know much about where and what kinds of settlements exist across many leagues of land.   There are two travelers that are particularly well traveled: Phidi Strideheart and Artur Neha.

Phidi Strideheart

Born in Vavahady, Phidi is primarily known for her travels all over the Deshret Continent, she has also been known to travel across the northern continent as well. She seeks to eventually map the life rich continent of Chivit.   Phidi once traveled through Centrum, which has allowed The Archivists Guild to obtain much information concerning Deshret geography.

Artur Neha

Born in Centrum , Artur is primarily known for his travels all over the Quassus Continent, he has also been known to travel across the southern continent. On his bucket list is a journey across the plains of Planus.   He says he encountered Phidi once. In that meeting they were able to compare notes. As to other details of their meeting, they are strangely quiet about it.

Note(s) from the Archivists:

Our archive contains so much information about the geography of our world thanks to Phidi and Artur. My conversation with each was illuminating. - Archivist Taenya Naïlo
