The Orcish Fleet

Construction beginning/end

Orgrim builds the orcish fleet in present-day Menethil Harbor, planning to sail around the Thandol Span and into Hillsbrad.

Connecting the continents of Lordaeron and Azeroth was the Thandol Span, an ancient bridge constructed by dwarves. The bridge was held with a large contingent of Anvilmar clan Dwarves. With such a small choke point, and reinforcements from the nearby Kingdom of Stormgarde north of the bridge, the Horde would be in for a rough fight to try and take. Not wanting to give them the battle of attrition, and knowing trying to fight an offensive war in the swamp while the enemy also holds the high ground unfavorable, Orgrim orders the construction of ships to sail around the bridge and land in the Hillsbrad Foothills.
