Comandante Manuel Valdes
He is lean but muscular and wears suspenders and green work pants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. His hair is long and silver with streaks of it and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is, braided, and well cared for. He tends to wear goggles to shield his eyes.
He is a jovial, happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
Born to a pair of adventurers, Manuel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war-torn lands. He has become unsatisfied with his lot in life and decided to take up adventuring.
