The Judge

"When Iman spoke, his words burned with truth throughout the celestial hall. The gods had created his body from the sun and as he stood in the center of the hall, his radiance captured the attention of every sentinel.

'The truth is the most beautiful thing. The world cannot persist if lies twist the fabric of reality. This creation is best when honesty is prized as it sets all at ease.'

Sentinel Asmodeus spoke up, 'But do not lies comfort those whom the truth may harm?' And Sentinel Nami as well asked, 'Where would the mystery of life be if the truth were known by all?' And Iman answered, 'The truth may burn some, yes, but it is a cleansing fire. Those shrouded in deceit live a life of falsehood and darkness. Only once the truth is shared by all will the creation come to perfection. This will be a beautiful thing."

Holidays

At the midpoint of the year, is the celebration of Iman's light on the world. The sentinel's crusade for truth is celebrated in a day called Veritas. Any commitment, deal, utterance, promise is taken as the absolute truth and those who are found to have perjured themselves on this day are sentenced to having their tongues removed for their disregard of Iman's tenets.
