Sentinels of Creation

The Sentinels were created to watch over the domains of mortals when the gods decided they need to take a step away from their creations. They were created to watch over the creation and were granted to ability to create Saints of their own volition. They were brought into the world as servants of the gods, but have now become gods to mortals of their own right. The Sentinels held a council to speak on what each of their domains would be. The eldest and first named, Draht, spoke first for Death, as all living things must undergo it. The second-made and second named among the Sentinels, Ronaele spoke for Life, as this made the creation what it was. And so forth did the Sentinels speak, sing, debate, jest, and fight over their domains until all was settled and they took their places in the world.

Where nature simply is, mortal minds divide and categorize. A plain field is split in half where a river runs through and two farmers claim a side as their own, but it is truly just one field. Thus have mortals divided the Sentinels into the Maxim, the Upper, and the Monem, the Lower. Mortals fear the negative aspects of existence, and so most have shunned the Monem for their domains and equally shun those who follow them. The following is the list of the Sentinels of Creation.
