Khemdall
The Maker
"...and so next came Khemdall. The sentinel's visage was that of a mountain flowing with liquid rock and hardened metal covered his countenance. He strode to the center of the Heart Chamber and formed a stool upon which he sat and he spoke...
'I have seen the creation use their own hands to make works of incredible craft. It comes from their own mind, these things. It comes from the fires within them that I would stoke to burn ever brighter. Whether it be made from love or ambition, one's creation is a manefestation of Shakra within them. I see this as a beautiful thing. '
'A voice spoke out from the council and questioned, 'What about those who would create works of evil or harm?' Khemdall responded, 'And what of it? Is a tree less beautiful even though it steals light from its neighbor? A weapon would be no more a masterwork if it killed chickens instead of people. It is in the creating, in the making, that is beautiful.'"
