The Praxxis Sky Gardens
The Water Gardens of Skycrown are truly spectacular to behold. Situated on the southern side of the city, the gardens remain in the sunlight for the entire day. The Water Gardens sit at the highest point in the city, and are visible from nearly everywhere in town. The structure is composed of a series of circular platforms, stacked and held together by columns and pillars. Winding, curved staircases and walkways connect each platform, allowing one to walk the entirety of the structure if they wish. Each platform is adorned with flowers and vines of all shapes, colors and sizes; spilling over the sides and filling the air with a riot of color and fragrance. Hidden within the columns, the great Praxxis artificers who had designed the structure installed a labyrinth of pipeworks which push water to the top of the gardens from an underground mountain spring. The water fills pools at every level, cascading down spillways and over waterfalls to the pools beneath. At night, the gardens are lit by lamps and torches strategically placed so as to give them an otherworldly appearance. The Water Gardens are meant to be a shining example of how technology and nature can co-exist in harmony.
