Firebrands

Winners of the 5016u Grid Iron championship, the Firebrands are a team of Lancers organized by secretive actors within Union. Each member of the Firebrands is branded with a literal mark seared into their skin, resembling either a desire for redemption or future glory. The current members of the Firebrands are as follows:

• Cannonball Jones, aka Flintlock, returning Grid Iron player and de facto leader of the team
• Helly Beech, aka Sunbox, an aspiring pilot that washed out of Union Navy recruitment
• Grant Balinoff, aka Dust, a field medic seeking greater fame and glory
• Molly Cranson, aka Summit, a former member of the Hellhounds Grid Iron team that swapped rosters for the 5016 championships.
• Nerian Rask, aka Strider, a former Karrakin noble that lost his title to ill-begotten rumors
• Lei , aka Nekomata, a mercenary in the employ of Harrison Armory

Following their 5016 victory, the Firebrands were recruited into a special Union Navy operation, where they were placed on the front lines to liberate the Judari people. Though most of their operations were covert, their front-line operations, combined with their existing celbrity status, left a lasting impression on many within the Ju'Ad system.
